Member 2 Member Campaign Launched

Troy Community Food Co-op members have received a mailing asking them to help recruit new members so that work can begin on renovating our building. Here is the text of the letter sent out on July 17:

The Troy Community Food Co-op is 650 member-owners strong today. If all it takes is just 2 new members a day to break 1,000 by the end of the year, will you help make our MEMBER2MEMBER CAMPAIGN a success?

Simply put, M2M is really about you – our member-owners – sharing your enthusiasm for the Co-op and its positive impact on downtown Troy. You’re our best “ambassadors.”

In the next week or two, can we count on you to reach out to one friend or one co-worker, one neighbor or one business that you patronize, or one person in a social group that you belong to and persuade just that one person to become a Co-op member-owner?

We’ve made it easy for you to recruit one new member with the enclosed flyers. Just hand a flyer to your best choice for “not-yet-but-soon-to-be” Co-op member-owner and share your passion for fresh, local, healthy food in a downtown Troy grocery store – the Pioneer Market.

In the coming months, we need only 2 new members a day to meet our goal of 1,000.
