TCFC PRESENTS CANNING WORKSHOP OCTOBER 3

Troy Co-op member-owners and friends will “Eat Local” this winter by canning local produce for fall and winter tables. Using the power of cooperative purchase and by sharing equipment and work, we can extend the harvest season in our cupboards. Participants friends will gather to learn canning at 10:00 a.m. in the professional kitchen of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 61 State St., Troy. The cost to participate is $8 per person and includes canning jars and vegetables (most likely to be tomatoes). Space is available for up to 15 Co-op members and non-members. For more information, or to reserve your place, please contact Eric Paul, Co-op General Manager, at 518-424-1131, or gm@troyfoodcoop.com. Member-owner Harriet Warnock-Graham has organized this event
and will follow up with everyone planning to attend.
