VOLUNTEERS ARE MAKING THINGS HAPPEN

Summer's been a busy time for the Co-op, with a growing pool of volunteers from the ranks of the Co-op's 670+ member-owners. In addition to our team of Farmers' Market regulars, several volunteers have made other noteworthy contributions and are recognized for their generosity of time and talent:
Kevin Blodgett and the Heavy 16th Crew white washed the interior of the Pioneer Market, setting the stage for programs and community-building activities on-site.
Bernice Bornt created the pie chart in the Market's storefront windows, illustrating successful efforts to capitalize the Troy Food Cooperative.
Rose Neander has been using her organizational skills as Volunteer Coordinator to recruit help for promotional tables at farmers markets and Troy Night Out, as well as following up on the Member2Member campaign.
Joe Esposito is providing tech support for web site updates and is working on a new Facebook page for the Co-op. Details to follow.
Harriet Warnock-Graham has organized Can You CanCan? the Co-op's first educational program on Saturday, October 3, in partnership with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County [see below]
